... Lake effect snow warning remains in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...

Hazardous weather...

* lake effect snow will begin diminishing this afternoon. The
   heaviest snow is expected this morning over eastern portions of
   Marquette County.

* Expect additional snowfall today of 1 to 6 inches near Lake
   Superior... greatest east of Skandia and mostly in the morning.
   Little to no snow is expected well inland.

Impacts...

* roads covered with snow will remain slippery.

* Moderate to heavy snow and patchy blowing snow will reduce
   visibilities... especially east over far eastern portions of
   Marquette County this morning.

* a lake effect snow warning means significant amounts of lake-
   effect snow are forecast that will make travel very hazardous
