... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until noon MST today...

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
until noon MST today.

* Location... Lake County and the eastern Sawatch Range above
11000 feet in western Chaffee County.

* Cause and timing... snow will continue... heavy at times... through
the morning as an upper disturbance moves through the region

* snow accumulation... an additional 3 to 6 inches.

* Wind... west winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph across
the higher peaks and passes.

* Impact... roads will remain snowpacked and icy with poor
visibilities in blowing snow across the mountain
passes... particularly Fremont and Tennessee Pass.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
