Issued: 2:10 AM MST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 am MST
Friday...

* timing... light snow will continue this morning, tapering off by
mid day today.

* Snowfall accumulation... 10 to 13 inches of snow has fallen from
Riverton to Lander with lighter amounts in the northwest portion
of the basin. An additional 1 to 2 inches is expected through
this morning.

* Main impact... roads will be slick and snow covered. Some roads
may be impassable, especially in rural areas, due to significant
snowfall and drifting that occurred on Thursday. Most highways
remained closed across the southern portion of the basin.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, and or
blowing snow are expected or occurring. This could make travel
very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel keep some food,
water, and an extra flashlight in your vehicle in case of an
emergency. Check the latest Road conditions at wyoroad.Info or by
