The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River near Greenville
* from Monday may 08 to Thursday may 18.
* At 1:00 PM Sunday the stage was 40.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast... heavier rainfall than forecast across Missouri and Illinois
has produced a higher River Crest. The river will rise above flood stage
Monday may 08 and will continue to rise to near 50.5 feet Sunday may 14.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 50.6 feet
on Jul 21 2015.
* Impact... at 50.0 feet... Upper Lake Ferguson Road and Warfield Point
park are closed.
* Impact... at 48.0 feet... water begins to cover the dirt Road leading
to the farmers grain terminal facility which is north of the
Greenville bridge.
* Impact... at 45.0 feet... Lower Lake Ferguson Road is closed. Warfield
Point park is closed.
* Impact... at 44.5 feet... Road to bunge corporation grain elevators is
under water.
* Impact... at 43.5 feet... Lower Lake Ferguson Road begins to flood.
* Impact... at 42.0 feet... flooding is occurring around Lake Ferguson.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River near Arkansas City
* from Monday may 08 to Wednesday may 17.
* At 1:00 PM Sunday the stage was 28.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
* Forecast... heavier rainfall than forecast across Missouri and Illinois
has produced a higher River Crest. The river will rise above flood stage Monday
may 08 and will continue to rise to near 39.0 feet Saturday may 13.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 38.2 feet
on Jul 21 2015.
* Impact... at 37.0 feet... the low Silt plain in front of Arkansas City
inside the levee system begins to flood along with widespread
bottomland flooding at Huntington Point Mississippi.
* Impact... at 35.0 feet... the Road to Donaldson Point is cut off.
