11 PM MST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
from 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Monday.

* Locations... Great Falls... Kings Hill Pass... Flesher Pass...
Helena... Lincoln... MacDonald Pass... Rogers Pass... Stanford...
Lewistown... Lewistown Divide... Boulder... Boulder Hill... Elk
Park Pass... Homestake pass... Whitehall... Townsend... White
Sulphur Springs.

* Ice accumulations... little or no ice accumulation expected.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 2 inches of snow for the plains and
valleys... 2 to 4 inches for north-facing foothills... and 3 to 6
inches in the mountains.

* Timing... a cold front will move south from Canada this evening.
Light snow will develop along and behind this new surge of
colder air. Snow will taper from north to south on Monday.

* Impacts... snow covered roads will cause slippery conditions.
Visibility will be reduced in snow and blowing snow.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... 7 below to 18 above zero.
