... A line of strong thunderstorms will affect Freeborn... southern
Faribault and east central Martin counties through 945 PM CDT...

At 843 PM CDT, radar indicated a broken line of strong thunderstorms
was located along a line extending from near I 90 exit 175 to near
Imogene. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and dime size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Albert Lea, Fairmont, Blue Earth, Elmore, Alden, Glenville, Emmons,
Bricelyn, London, Hayward, Mansfield and frost.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35 between mile markers 1 and 15.
Interstate 90 between mile markers 108 and 173.
U.S. Highway 169 between mile markers 1 and 13.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring in these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They can relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in the Twin Cities.
