Issued: 11:43 PM MDT Mar. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to noon
MDT Friday...

* timing... snow will increase in intensity over the northern
mountains after midnight and continue into Friday morning. The
heaviest snowfall is likely from late night through mid
morning Friday.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 6 inches, heaviest south of Interstate
70.

* Wind/visibility... north 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
Visibilities could be under one quarter of a mile in heavier
snow.

* Impacts... snow, gusty winds and poor visibilities will create
hazardous winter driving conditions. Roads will be icy and
snow packed.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
