Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 2:45 PM MST Dec. 4, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST
Monday for Bitterroot valley and Missoula...

* impacts/timing: a period of intense snow and gusty winds with
developing snow bands will create hazardous driving conditions
this afternoon and evening. Expect quickly changing conditions
from dry or wet to snow covered roads in a short distance. The
combination of accumulating snow, wind, and quickly dropping

Monday morning commute.

* Snow accumulations this evening through Monday morning: 1 to 4
inches. The mountain slopes just above the valleys will be on
the higher end of this range.

* Winds: gusty west northwest winds 0f 20 to 30 miles per hour
with the cold front this evening.
