Flood Warning
Issued: 9:34 AM CDT Apr. 30, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Arkansas River at Ozark lock and dam.
* From this afternoon to Tuesday morning, or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 9:00 am Sunday, the stage was 356.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 357.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise above flood stage by this
afternoon and continue to rise to near 360.4 feet by Monday before
dawn.The river will fall below flood stage by early Tuesday
morning.
* Impact... at 360.0 feet, flooding spreads over more than 4,000 acres
in Franklin and Logan counties. Numerous gas fields are flooded.
Some agricultural lands in Johnson County also are flooded.
