... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 am EST Sunday...

Hazardous weather...

* fog will continue to redevelop over southeastern Michigan this
   evening... expanding gradually southward.

* Widespread dense fog will become increasingly widespread into
   the overnight hours with visibilities near zero at times.

* Conditions may improve for short periods of time... but the
   environment will remain favorable for continued fog
   development through sunrise on Sunday.

Impacts...

* hazardous driving conditions in reduced visibilities.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect tonight...

Areas of fog continues to expand slowly back south across
southeast lower Michigan with dense fog reducing visibilities to
one quarter of a mile or less as far south as the northeast
quadrant of Metro Detroit. This trend is expected to continue
during the remainder of the evening as areas of dense fog begin to
fill in to the south of the M-59 corridor. Motorists are urge to
drive with extra caution due to the hazardous travel conditions
poor visibilities will create.
