... Flash Flood Watch in effect through Sunday evening...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for north and central Georgia.

* Through Sunday evening

* a strong upper level disturbance and abundant Gulf moisture will

move repeatedly across the same areas. Two to four inches of
rain has already fallen today. Additional rainfall amounts of one
to three inches will be likely... with locally higher amounts
possible.

* Flooding in low lying and flood prone areas will be likely. In
addition... creeks... streams and rivers may overflow their banks.

* Overnight flooding is very dangerous. Do not drive onto water
covered roads.

to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
