Issued: 7:25 PM PDT May. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 3 am PDT Wednesday...

* winds... west 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 mph or more.

* Timing... west winds have developed and will sharply increase
during the mid to late evening hours. Winds will likely peak
between 9 PM and 3 am.

* Impacts... loose objects like lawn furniture and trash cans
should be secured. Motorists with plans to travel on I-90
tonight should be prepared for strong west winds between Moses
Lake and Snoqualmie Pass. Parts of Highway 2 over the
Waterville Plateau will also be quite windy tonight.

* Locations... Wenatchee, Chelan, Entiat, Cashmere, Waterville,
Mansfield, and Quincy.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts
over 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
