... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am PST Monday...

* locations... Snoqualmie Pass... Stevens Pass... Mount Baker and
Mount Rainier.

* Timing... snow showers will continue today and tonight.

* Main impact... another 8 to 18 inches of snow is likely in the
Cascades today and tonight. The heaviest amounts will probably
be around Stevens Pass and Snoqualmie Pass... where the Puget
Sound convergence zone extends eastward into the Cascades.

* Snow level... 1500 to 2000 feet.

* Other impacts... travel into and through the Cascades will be
difficult due to snow covered roadways and possible delays.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
