... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 am to 10 PM PST
Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 4 am to 10 PM
PST Thursday.

* Locations... La Pine... Sunriver.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 6 inches.

* Timing... light snow will develop in Deschutes County early
Thursday morning then will spread north during the day.

* Impacts... area roadways will be snow covered and slick.

* Winds... east 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph may cause
areas of blowing and drifting of snow.

* Snow level... snow levels will gradually increase through the day
and will rise to 4000 feet for areas south of Mt Jefferson
Thursday evening.
