and Maui... rising to 16 to 22 feet tonight and continuing
through Wednesday.

* Timing... rising tonight and peaking early Wednesday. Declining
Wednesday night but remaining at advisory levels.

* Impacts... moderate... expect strong breaking waves... shore
break... and strong currents making swimming dangerous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Heed all advice given by ocean safety officials and exercise
caution. Be prepared for water splashing onto coastal roads along
the east facing shores.
