The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Winter Storm

10 am PST Saturday. In the meantime, scattered snow showers
through this evening will leave little additional accumulation.

* Hazard types... heavy snow and blowing snow.

inches above 5000 feet. 2 feet or more above 7000 feet.

* Timing... the heaviest snow is expected to fall early Friday
morning into Friday evening.

* Impacts... the heavy snow will make many roads impassable and
create winter driving conditions. Over the highest

conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
