* Flood Warning continues for the San Diego River at Fashion Valley

* at 9 PM Friday the river stage was 11.99 feet

* flood stage is 11.3 feet

* the river will remain above flood stage tonight. It is forecast to fall
below flood Saturday morning.

* Impacts:

Low water crossings over the river in Mission Valley are closed and under water.

Roads impacted include... Fashion Valley Road, Avenida del Rio, Camino del este,
Camino de la reina, and mission Center Road.

Water flows into Fashion Valley parking lot. Riverwalk Golf course
will be impacted.

High Surf Warning

... High surf warning remains in effect until 10 PM PST Tuesday...

* surf... surf 8 to 12 ft with sets to 16 feet through this
afternoon. Surf subsiding Sunday through Tuesday to 6 to 9 ft
with sets to 12 ft. Surf will likely diminish below high surf
thresholds by Wednesday.

* Tides... highest tide will be 4.6 ft at 435 am this morning... 4.8
ft at 520 am Sunday... 5.1 ft at 559 am Monday... and 5.4 ft at
634 am Tuesday.

* Impacts... coastal flooding and beach erosion. Damage to coastal
structures such as piers. Strong rip currents and dangerous
swimming conditions. Large waves can wash people off jetties and
rocks.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf warning indicates that dangerous... battering wave
will pound the shoreline. This will result in very dangerous
swimming conditions... and deadly rip currents.

... Gale Warning remains in effect until 4 PM PST this afternoon...
... Gale Warning in effect from 10 am Sunday to 4 am PST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Gale
Warning... which is in effect from 10 am Sunday to 4 am PST
Tuesday.

* Winds... southwest to west winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt.
Winds will diminish this afternoon and evening. Winds will
increase to gale force again Sunday morning and afternoon as
the next storm approaches.

* Waves/seas... combined seas 12 to 18 feet today... then seas
lowering to 8 to 13 feet tonight. Seas increasing again Sunday
to 12 to 18 feet... with rough seas continuing through Monday
night.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
