... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM PST Saturday...

* winds and timing... areas of northeast winds 15 to 30 mph with
gusts to 45 mph are expected through early Saturday
afternoon... then winds will slowly diminish. Winds will be
strongest in and below the foothills.

* Impacts... gusty winds will make driving difficult... especially
for drivers of high profile vehicles. The gusty winds may down
trees and power lines and cause power outages. Winds will
affect travel on portions of the 210 freeway.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

When driving... use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.

Issued: 7:23 PM PST Dec. 2, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 6 PM PST Saturday for
strong gusty winds and low humidities for inland Orange County...
the Santa Ana Mountains and foothills... and western portions of
the inland Empire below the Cajon Pass...

* wind... northeast 20 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph. Isolated
gusts of 70 to 80 mph or possibly greater are expected in the
wind prone passes of the Santa Ana Mountains and on the south
slopes of the San Gabriel Mountains.

* Humidity... falling to 15 percent this afternoon with poor
overnight recovery. Humidity then falling to 8 to 15 percent
Saturday.

* Timing... noon today through 6 PM Saturday.

* Outlook... winds will start to weaken and humidity will start
to increase Saturday night into Sunday.

* Impacts... any fires that start may exhibit rapid growth and
extreme fire behavior.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
