... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from noon Monday to
5 am MST Tuesday above 6000 feet...

* timing... light snow will be possible this evening through Monday
morning. Heavier snow will spread into the area Monday
afternoon and evening... continuing through Tuesday morning.

* General event total snow accumulations... 3 to 7 inches for
areas above 6000 feet elevation. Higher amounts possible along
southwest facing slopes of the Chuska Mountains and the Black
Mesa. See details below or consult point specific forecast at:

* Snowfall forecast from noon MST Monday until 5 am MST
Tuesday...

         Ganado 2 to 4 inches Shonto 1 to 3 inches
    Window Rock 2 to 4 inches

* winds... gusty winds are expected throughout the event... with the
strongest winds Monday afternoon. Sustained winds over 20 mph
with gusts up to 45 will severely reduce visibilities in blowing
and drifting snow.

* Other impacts... dangerous travel conditions are likely due to
snow packed and slick roads.
