The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* urban and small stream flood advisory for...
northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 1030 PM MST

* at 825 PM MST, showers were tapering off across the area.
Excessive runoff and flow from earlier heavy rain will continue to
cause some urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, tortolita, Summit, Tucson
Estates, Drexel-alvernon, Valencia west, flowing Wells, Littletown,
Drexel Heights, Casas Adobes, Tanque Verde, South Tucson, Vail,
Mount Lemmon/Summerhaven, Ryan Field, Davis-monthan Air Force base
and Seven Falls.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
