... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM MST
Monday...

* affected area... the Cache Valley... northern Wasatch front...
southwest Wyoming... the southern Wasatch front... Great Salt
Lake Desert... western Uinta Basin and southwest Utah.

* Snow accumulations... generally 3 to 7 inches... locally higher
on benches and above 5500 feet.

* Timing... snow will continue to develop this afternoon and
continue heavy at times through tomorrow before decreasing
tomorrow evening. Precipitation may mix with or turn to rain for
a period tonight into tomorrow morning below 5000 feet along the
Wasatch front south of Brigham City.

* Snow levels... rising to 5000 to 5500 feet along the Wasatch
front south of Brigham City overnight and into tomorrow morning
before falling back to the valley floor. Snow will remain to
valley floors elsewhere.

* Winds... strong gusty southwest winds are forecast for
southwest Utah and southwest Wyoming late today into tomorrow
morning. Gusts up to 50 mph are expected. This may cause
blowing and drifting snow across southwest Utah and southwest
Wyoming.

* Impacts... periods of winter driving conditions can be expected
late today through tomorrow evening. If traveling... use extra
caution.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.
