... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3 PM MST Friday...

* affected area... the Cache Valley... the northern Wasatch front
and the Wasatch Mountain valleys.

* Snow accumulations... 5 to 10 inches with the greatest amounts
near the Idaho border. Locally 1 to 2 feet in the Ogden Valley.

* Timing... periods of snow this evening then becoming widespread
and heavy at times after midnight through early afternoon
Friday before tapering off.

* Impacts... winter driving conditions can be expected across all
routes into Friday. This includes this evening and Friday
morning commutes along the northern Wasatch front.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant
accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving
conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm
