... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 10 PM this evening to
10 PM PST Wednesday...

* impacts/timing: precipitation will move into the area Wednesday
morning. The precipitation will start off as snow... then a
period of freezing rain in the valleys and finally to all rain
by Wednesday afternoon. Refreeze on roads is possible after
sunset Wednesday due to cold sub surface temperatures. Another
concern will be weight loading of snow due to the rainfall
causing strain on structures. Hazardous driving conditions will
be possible later tonight trough Wednesday evening.

* Snow accumulations: little to no accumulations in the lower
elevations with 2 to 5 inches above 4000 feet.

* Ice accumulations: potentially up to a quarter of an inch in the
lower elevations of Clearwater County.

* Locations impacted include: Elk River, Highway 11 Pierce to
Headquarters, Pierce, Camas Prairie, Grangeville and vicinity,
and Greer grade
