Periods of snow are expected to continue across Jackson Hole
today. Snow is expected to mix with or change to rain below 7000
feet this afternoon into the evening hours. The precipitation is
expected to change back to all snow Tuesday afternoon and evening
as a cold front sweeps across western Wyoming. Rainfall amounts
between a half and one inch are expected with this storm, with a
few to several inches of wet snow possible, with the heaviest
amounts across northern Jackson Hole where up to 3 inches of wet
snowfall will likely accumulate between Moran and Moose. The
rainfall along with some melting snow could result in localized
flooding or ponding of water.
