Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 12:44 AM MDT Aug. 30, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT
this evening for gusty winds... low relative humidity... and
critically dry fuels...

* affected area... fire weather zone 281... especially the
northern portion of this zone.

* Wind... south winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 30 mph.

* Humidity... 14 to 15 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
