... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to
noon MST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
from midnight tonight to noon MST Monday.

* Timing... snow across northern Wyoming is expected to develop
from midnight to early morning continuing until noon.

* Total snowfall... possible 5 to 10 inches in the Bighorn
Mountains with 2 to 4 inches from Buffalo to Kaycee.

* Wind and visibility... north to northwest wind increasing to 15
to 25 mph with gusts 40 mph may cause areas of blowing and
drifting snow... with visibility down to a quarter mile or less
at times on Powder River Pass and along Interstate highways 90
and 25.

* Impacts... roads may become slick... and snow packed with limited
visibility at times. People planning outdoor activities should
be prepared for adverse winter weather conditions and take the
proper precautions.

A weather system moving through the area Monday will bring some
light snow to northern Johnson County. Light snow will mix with
west to northwest wind... causing some blowing areas of snow mainly
between 2 am and 10 am Monday... with light snow or flurries lingering
through the afternoon.

Snowfall will range from 1 to 2 inches... locally to 3 inches with
a west wind of 15 to 30 mph. This will cause blowing and drifting
snow in some areas and low visibility at times. This will impact
travel on interstates 25 and 90 at times.
