... Winter Storm Warning in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow and wind which is in effect until 6 PM MDT
this evening. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.


* Timing... snow, heavy at times, will continue today, especially
this morning.

* Total snowfall... 6 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts near
Buffalo.

* Wind... north 25 to 40 mph causing considerable blowing and
drifting snow with visibilities under one quarter mile at
times.

* Main impact... highways will be slick and snow covered,
including interstates 25 and 90. Visibility could be reduced to
under one half mile at times in snow and blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, and or
blowing snow are expected or occurring. This could make travel
very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel keep some food,
