... Significant weather advisory...

At 226 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of thunderstorms
coming across the Big Horn Mountains, centered about 25 miles west
of Sheridan, moving east at 25 mph.

These storms may produce wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph as they move
east into the Sheridan vicinity. Dangerous lightning and brief heavy
rain are also expected.

Locations impacted include...
Sheridan, Ranchester, Dayton, Granite Pass, Big Horn, Parkman,
Banner, story and Burgess Junction.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
