... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 PM
MDT Friday...

The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for heavy snow, which is in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 PM MDT Friday.

* Timing... rain and snow will develop today, becoming all snow by
this evening. Snow, heavy at times, will continue through the
day on Friday.

* Main impact... snowfall totals of 6 to 8 inches are expected.

* Other impacts... visibilities will be reduced to less than a
quarter mile in the heavier snow.
