... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am MDT early
this morning...

* timing... snow showers will taper off this morning in Yellowstone
Park. Snow will continue in the absarokas into Friday morning.

* Total snow... 6 to 12 inches in the mountains. New snow at the
lower elevations of Yellowstone Park will be 2 inches or less
overnight... with up to 4 inches near the East Entrance.

* Main impact... highways will become slick and snow covered,
including chief Joseph Highway and highways 14/16/20 west out
of Cody. Visibility could be reduced to under one quarter mile
at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
and slick roads with limited visibilities. Slow down, and allow
extra time to reach your destination. Check the latest Road
