... The flood advisory remains in effect until 615 PM MDT for
northwestern Teller County...

At 444 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
open country north of Highway 25 between Divide and Florissant.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Trout Creek...
West Creek... phantom creek... Mule Creek... Twin Creek... and rule
creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
