Blizzard Warning
Issued: 6:23 AM MDT Mar. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Blizzard Warning remains in effect until noon MDT today...

* timing... snow and strong winds will continue through the
morning hours, with the snow expected to decrease towards
noon.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 7 inches.

* Wind/visibility... north winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55
mph at times through the afternoon. Visibilities will be near
zero at times.

* Impacts... heavy snow, strong winds and poor visibilities will
create hazardous winter driving conditions. Roads will be icy
and snow packed.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions... making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel... have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded... stay with your vehicle.
