... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this
evening...

* timing... brief moderate to heave snow this afternoon, decreasing
by 6 PM.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches additional accumulation.

* Wind/visibility... west winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35
mph. Visibility may be reduced to one quarter mile in the
heavier snow showers.

* Impacts... colder temperatures will allow snow to accumulate on
roads across the high country. Travelers headed into the
Colorado high country should be prepared for winter travel
conditions. Traction and chain Laws may be enacted over the High
Mountain passes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
