... High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/
this evening...

* timing... until 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* Winds... southwest to west 25 to 45 mph with gusts to 60 to 75
mph. These winds will mostly occur above 6000 ft, except for the
Guadalupe Mountains where strong winds will occur below 6000 ft.

* Impacts... strong winds can cause power disruptions... hazards to
trailers and high profile vehicles and blowing dust that can
reduce visibility suddenly. Turbulence near the mountains will
be hazardous for light aircraft.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
