... Coastal Flood Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to 4 PM
CDT Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a
coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect from midnight tonight
to 4 PM CDT Tuesday for the counties of Nueces... Kleberg and San
Patricio.

* Coastal flooding... tide levels near or just above 2 feet mean
sea level around the time of high tide.

* Timing... high tide at Port Aransas is at 416 am Tuesday with
another high tide around 1231 PM. Greatest impacts will be
between 2 am and 2 PM Tuesday.

* Impacts... at 2 feet above mean sea level... several beach access
roads become flooded. Minor flooding along area beaches may
occur. Steady periods of water at the dunes may occur. Water may
flood portions of Laguna shores drive in Flour Bluff. North
Beach may experience minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
