... Coastal Flood Advisory in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to
4 am CST Sunday...
... High rip current risk is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a
coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to 4 am CST Sunday. The high rip current risk has been
cancelled.

* Coastal flooding... actual tide levels will run 2 feet above mean
sea level or more during high tide. High tide at bob Hall pier
is around 736 PM CST tonight... while high tide at Port Aransas
is at 745 PM tonight.

* Timing... this afternoon through early Sunday morning.

* Impacts... persistent water levels will likely reach the dunes
of coastal Nueces and Kleberg counties. Minor beach flooding and
minor erosion will continue to be possible. The ability to drive
along the beaches will range from limited to impossible. Lowest
areas of North Beach in Corpus Christi and along Laguna shores
drive in Flour Bluff may also be impacted.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
