Areal Flood Advisory
Issued: 8:03 PM CDT May. 28, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* flood advisory for...
east central Robertson County in central Texas...
southern Leon County in central Texas...

* until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 801 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were
producing heavy rainfall across south central Robertson County
near Centerville and Leona. Excessive runoff from these
thunderstorms will cause urban and small stream flooding. Areas
that are low lying or usually experience poor drainage are most
likely to experience flooding. This means some low water crossings
in the region may become impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Centerville, Normangee and Leona.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
