The Flood Warning continues for
the Neosho river near Oswego.
* From Sunday afternoon until Wednesday morning.
* At 7:00 am Friday the stage was 9.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Sunday afternoon and continue
to rise to near 20.0 feet by Monday early afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by Tuesday early afternoon.
* Impact... at 19.5 feet... Xavier Road leading north from the river
gage begins to see water near the Road.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Neosho river near Parsons.
* From Sunday morning until late Monday night.
* At 1:00 PM Friday the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Sunday morning and continue to
rise to near 23.0 feet by Sunday evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by Monday early afternoon.
* Impact... at 23.0 feet... flood waters spread over fields to a
distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several County roads, mainly
along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live
along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience
water entering their homes at basement levels.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from 7 PM CDT this evening
through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southeast Kansas, including the following area,
Labette.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Sunday morning.

* Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts
are expected from tonight through Sunday over far southeast
Kansas. This could support pockets of flash flooding for low-
lying and flood-prone areas. Rises on area rivers and streams
should also be expected.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a dangerous situation.
Remember to turn around... don't drown.

should flash flood warnings be issued.
