for northwestern Nemaha and northern Marshall counties...

At 524 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles east of
Bremen... moving east at 35 mph.

Hazard... Golf Ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... trained weather spotters.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs... siding... windows... and vehicles. Expect
         wind damage to roofs... siding... and trees.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from 7 PM CDT this evening
through Thursday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Kansas and northeast Kansas...
including the following areas... in north central Kansas... Clay
and cloud. In northeast Kansas... Brown... Jackson... Marshall...
Nemaha... Pottawatomie and Riley.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday morning

* a front moves into the area late this afternoon through
tonight... providing a focus for widespread thunderstorm
development. With high rainfall rates possible... these storms
may potentially produce locally heavy rainfall which may cause
some flash flooding. Locations from a Concordia to Holton line
have already received 2 to 3 inches of rainfall from storms on
Tuesday... and will be particularly susceptible to possible flash
flooding from heavy rainfall tonight.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
