The Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River at Beardstown.
* Until further notice.
* At 845 PM Friday the stage was 21.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 21.7 feet by
early tomorrow morning. Additional rises may be possible
thereafter.
* Impact... at 20.0 feet... seepage problems begin in the south
Beardstown drainage and levee district.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to continue to fall slowly to near 20.3 feet

... Areas of dense fog until mid morning...

Areas of dense fog have been occurring across portions of central
Illinois early this morning, reducing visibility to less than a
half mile at times. The visibility has been rapidly changing, and
will vary from a few miles to around a quarter mile or less over
a very short distance. If you are traveling across the area early
this morning, watch out for rapid changes in visibility. Slow down
and use your low beam head lights. The fog should lift between 8
and 9 am.
