Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 3:37 AM CST Jan. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory now in effect until 10 am CST this
morning...

* visibility... dense fog with visibilities down to a quarter mile
will become more widespread through early morning. The fog
should begin to lift by mid morning.

* Impacts... drivers should be prepared for rapidly changing
visibility. Be alert for slow moving traffic... especially
during the morning commute to work or school.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
