... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* timing... snow will continue into the afternoon. Areas around
Galesburg and Peoria will likely see the snow taper off in the
3 to 4 PM time frame... ending in Bloomington around 5 PM.

* Amounts... 2 to 4 inches of snow will accumulate across much of
the advisory area. However... locations across Knox... Stark and
Marshall counties are likely to see 4 to 6 inches.

* Impacts... roadways will be slushy in many areas... causing
slippery travel conditions. Visibility will be reduced at times
to around a half mile.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
