... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to
noon MDT Thursday for elevations above 6000 feet...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for elevations above 6000 feet for snow, which
is in effect from 9 PM this evening to noon MDT Thursday.

* Locations: Raynolds Pass, Battle Ridge Pass, Targhee Pass, and
West Yellowstone.

* Timing: showers will become widespread this evening and continue
through Thursday morning before diminishing. Periods of snow are
likely to affect higher elevations with some slushy
accumulation on Road surfaces later tonight into Thursday
morning.

* Accumulations: snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches at elevations
above 6000 feet.

* Winds: west 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Visibilities: less than one mile at times.

* Hazard elevation: for elevations above 6000 feet.

* Snow level: 6500 feet lowering to 4500 feet.

* Impacts: reduced visibility and potentially slick and slushy
Road surfaces over mountain passes.
