* Counties affected:
in central Montana, far southwest Cascade, southern Lewis And
Clark, western Meagher, and Powell. In southwest Montana,
Broadwater, Gallatin, Jefferson.

* Wind: west 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph, strongest from
mid to late afternoon.

develop this afternoon and early evening. The greatest chance of
thunderstorms is expected across fire weather zone 118.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are

winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these
areas of this red flag warning.
