Special Statement
Issued: 6:17 AM CDT Jun. 28, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Heavy rainfall today may lead to flash flooding...

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will affect northwest
Wisconsin today and tonight, which may lead to flash flooding.

An area of low pressure is forecast to advance eastward across
Minnesota and Wisconsin today, with a weak warm front lifting
northward into central Wisconsin during the afternoon. Locally
heavy rainfall is likely, especially from late this morning
through late afternoon. Localized flash flooding is possible from
the heavy rain. Even if rainfall amounts remain in the 1 to 1.5
inch range, localized ponding of water in low-lying areas is
likely.
