Special Statement
Issued: 5:05 AM CDT Aug. 30, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Pockets of dense fog early this morning...

A moist surface with dewpoints in the 60s combined with partial
clearing and light winds have led to the formation of fog early
this morning. The fog is locally dense over parts of central
Wisconsin and north central Wisconsin. Locally dense fog may also
form over parts of east central Wisconsin by daybreak.

The dense fog will reduce visibilities to one quarter mile or less
at times. Motorists should be alert for these pockets of dense
fog for the morning commute. The fog should dissipate shortly
after sunrise.
