... Slow moving showers and thunderstorms producing locally heavy
rains...

At 1150 am CDT... radar indicated clusters of showers and
thunderstorms from just southwest of Viroqua in Vernon County to
south of Fennimore in Grant County. These showers and storms were
moving very slowly or not moving at all. Radar estimates indicate
as much as 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen since 9 am south of
Viroqua and near Fennimore.

These showers and storms are likely to persist well into the early
afternoon hours... with up to another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall
possible.

Be alert for ponding of water in low areas and on roads in these
areas. Do not drive through flooded roadways. If flooding or
high water is observed... report it to the local police or Sheriffs
Office to relay to the National Weather Service.
