Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 9:34 PM CST Jan. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST Sunday.

* Visibility... visibilities of a quarter mile or less will be
common from the Clarinda to Red Oak and Harlan areas. This
includes the eastern half of Pottawattamie County... especially
east of a Treynor to Underwood line.

* Impacts... drivers are encouraged to slow down and allow extra
time to reach destinations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
