Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 4:14 AM CST Feb. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am CST this
morning...

* visibilities of 1/2 mile or less at times.

* Where temperatures are below freezing, the dense fog may deposit
some frost on cold Road surfaces, with the possiblity of
slippery spots.

* These low visibilities combined with night-time darkness will
make travel hazardous through sunrise.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low-beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead
of you. Be alert for frost on roads and slippery spots where
temperatures are below freezing.
