... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 4 am EST /3 am
CST/ Friday to 1 am EST /midnight CST/ Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* expect wet and heavy snow to develop by 7 am CST Friday and
   linger through the morning hours. There may be a time in the
   afternoon and evening where snowfall becomes light and mixes
   in with freezing drizzle. However snow is expected to pick
   back up Friday night into early Saturday morning.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 6 am Friday
   and 1 PM Friday, when 2 to 4 inches of snow are possible.

* Total snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches and ice
   accumulations up to one tenth of an inch are expected Friday
   through the day and into Saturday morning.

* the wet and heavy snow will make roads slick and snow covered
   for the Friday morning commute.
